Dry Skin Moisturizing Tips

Moisturizers, or emollients, work to soothe, smooth, and soften the skin. They can also reduce itching and inflammation while enhancing the skin’s barrier.

For Mildly Dry Skin

– Fine scaling and a dull appearance to the skin.

For Moderately Dry Skin

– More apparent dryness with small scaling, and possibly some cracking.

For Severely Dry Skin

– Large scales, with fissuring and/or lichenification.
