- Moisturizing: Regular use of emollients to keep the skin hydrated.
- Topical Steroids: To reduce inflammation and manage flare-ups.
- Calcineurin Inhibitors: For inflammation without long-term steroid side effects.
- New Therapies: Including JAK inhibitors and biological therapies for severe cases.
Specific Treatments
- Atopic Dermatitis: Emollients, topical steroids, and newer treatments like dupilumab.
- Contact Dermatitis: Avoiding the allergen or irritant and using topical treatments.
- Seborrheic Dermatitis: Medicated shampoos, topical antifungals, and steroids.
