Symptoms
Granuloma Annulare
The clinical manifestations of granuloma annulare can vary. The most common form, localized granuloma annulare, presents with circular or semicircular rashes that typically appear on extremities such as hands, feet, wrists, and ankles. Generalized granuloma annulare, which is less common, affects larger body areas and may cause discomfort or itchiness. Subcutaneous granuloma annulare typically targets children, producing firm nodules under the skin. Rare forms, like perforating granuloma annulare, involve yellowish plaques or papules that may be itchy or tender.
