Overview
Granuloma Annulare
Granuloma annulare (GA) is a chronic dermatological condition characterized by the formation of ring-shaped, smooth, discolored papules and plaques on the skin. Histologically, it is defined by the presence of necrobiotic granulomas. Despite its benign nature, GA can vary widely in its presentation, affecting individuals across all ages but predominantly seen in children, teenagers, or young adults, with a female predominance reported at a ratio of 2:1 over males.
